Warranty Questions
We realize the you may have questions about the financing your new home. We have assembled a list of the most frequently asked questions we receive. We hope this list is helpful to you but if you don't find the answer, please be sure to ask your New Home Consultant.

1. Does my warranty transfer if I sell my home?
No, it is not transferable and shall terminate upon change of ownership. However, your basement waterproofing warranty is transferable. Ask your New Home Consultant for the details of that warranty.
2. I'm past my one year warranty and something is wrong with one of my appliances. What do I do?
Dutch Heritage Homes assigns and passes through to the owner the manufacturer's warranties on all appliances. It is your responsibility to contact the manufacturer for service.
3. What type of things do I put on my warranty request?
Please understand this is not a walk through. Cosmetic items will not be considered on any warranty request. Please refer to your Customer Care Manual and the Limited Home Warranty before you list items for inspection.
4. How do I make a warranty claim?
Dutch Heritage Homes provides you with two opportunities to request warranty service. Please refer to the forms included in your manual. There may be times when an inspection may be required other than the 5 &11 month. Please fax, mail, or email your concern and our service manager will review it to determine the appropriate time for service. When submitting any type of warranty request, please give as much detail as possible. Please include name, address, telephone numbers, and a complete description of the problem.

5. What is NOT covered under my warranty?
